WELCOME TO OUR NEW SUPERINTENDENT!
The Fox Point-Bayside School District Board extends its gratitude to each student, staff and community member who supported the superintendent search process and shared feedback. Your insight created an invaluable lens through which the board reviewed each candidate.
After a thorough nationwide search, the board is delighted to announce Mr. Michael Weaver as its next superintendent. Mr. Weaver’s contract received official approval at the board meeting on April 7, 2025.
Mr. Weaver comes to Fox Point-Bayside from his position as assistant superintendent of the Maple Dale-Indian Hill School District, a role that he has held for five years. Before that, he was the district’s director of business services. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at West Allis-West Milwaukee School District and Milwaukee Public Schools. Mr. Weaver is currently completing a PhD in educational leadership and policy analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds a Master of Science in educational leadership from Cardinal Stritch University.
The board believes Mr. Weaver possesses the strategic, student-centered vision necessary to navigate the goals and challenges of a high-achieving K-8 district like Fox Point-Bayside.
His comprehensive understanding of school finance, operations and curriculum positions him as a strong leader capable of continuing our tradition of academic excellence. Additionally, his dedication to developing the whole child and using innovation to inspire student achievement aligns with the values driving our District’s mission and strategic plan.
Thanks to your support, the board is confident that we have found a candidate who reflects the priorities and vision of our school community, and we are excited to give Mr. Weaver a warm welcome to our community.
