Brewers Spirit Day

Library Closed for Lunch
The Library will be closed for lunch and recess during 5th and 6th grade lunches today only. The Library will reopen for 7th/8th grade lunch and recess and will host therapy dog Maisie.
School Pictures Retake Day
Our school picture retake and make-up day is coming up on Thursday, October 23rd, one week from today. If you would like to get your picture retaken this day, you must bring your proof card or original picture package with you to turn in for your retake. Any students and staff that were absent on Picture day should also plan on getting your picture taken next Thursday. Thank you!
Talent Show
The Bayside Talent Show is coming up on Friday, November 14 at 6:30 PM!
If you’ve got a talent to share—singing, dancing, comedy, magic, anything—this is your moment to shine. To sign up, join the Talent Show Google Classroom with the code posted on the talent show posters around the building and fill out the short survey by Friday, October 24.
Don’t forget—there’s a mandatory dress rehearsal on Friday, November 7 from 3:30 to 6 PM right after school. Show us what you’ve got, Bayside!
Yearbook Cover Art Contest
Students, it’s that time of year again and we are looking for submissions for the yearbook cover art contest. The winning designs will be featured on the front and back covers of the yearbook! The theme is “Charging Toward the Future!”. Contest guidelines will be shared in homerooms this week and can be found on the Bayside Daily Communication Folder and hard copies are available in the Main Office. All entries are due in the office by Monday, November 10th. Don’t miss this chance to have your design featured on the cover of the 2025-26 Bayside Middle School Yearbook!
Lost and Found
Students, the lost and found tables have been set up. Please check the tables for any items that may belong to you and take them home.
Monster Bash
Hey Bayside! The Monster Bash is almost here! Join us on Saturday, October 25th from 11 AM–1 PM at Stormonth for games, a bounce house, Trunk-or-Treat, a cupcake crawl, and more! Costumes encouraged — it’s going to be spooktacular!
7th and 8th graders! Want to earn volunteer hours and help younger students have a blast? Sign up to volunteer at the Monster Bash — we need game helpers and event crew! If you’re interested you will find all the details on the PTO website.
Clothing Swap
Cleaning out your closet this weekend? Consider saving the best that you would pass on to take to our clothing swap which will be happening again on Monday, October 27th from 5-7pm. Want to drop off your clothes early? Feel free to bring in your donations next week and drop them off in the makerspace. Any students interested in volunteering to help with the clothing swap should come to a lunch and recess meeting this Monday, October 20, during lunch and recess.
