| Human Growth and Development focuses on the growth and development of the whole child- physical, social, emotional and intellectual. Learning expectations for students are based upon the District mission statement and specific goals for this specific curriculum strand. Well-planned instructional objectives, appropriate for the developmental needs of students, have been developed at every grade level by caring and trained adults representing faculty, parents, medical, clergy, administration and the community itself. The intent of this document is to provide the reader with an understanding of both the content and philosophy inherent in this curriculum. |
