Fox-Point/Bayside School District is transitioning email addresses from foxbay.k12.wi.us to foxbay.org. Please update your address book with the new foxbay.org email address. After January 1st, all district emails will be from foxbay.org and the foxbay.k12.wi.us will no longer be active.
This is a reminder to students and staff that we will be following an alternate schedule today due to the Jazz Assembly that will take place at 9:00. There is no flex today! Students should report to their advisors immediately following 2nd hour today and wait to be called down to the gym for the Jazz Assembly.
Jazz ensemble will be called to come down after 1st hour to get ready for the performance. Please do not come down before that time.
8th Graders – Course Selection forms due!
Attention 8th graders: Please remember to get your course selection forms to Ms. Lesch or to Nicolet by this Friday, - that’s tomorrow, February 12th!
Listen up Forensics students: Forensics will meet after school today in the LMC. The meeting will last until 4:00.
Solo & Ensemble - singers
Attention singers involved in solo & ensemble competition, the music room is open after school for practice today and on Friday until 3:45. Singers competing in solo and ensemble may come on any of those days, and should plan to attend at least 1 practice a week.
Listen up, students. If you did not receive a confirmation slip for the upcoming Parent Conferences in Advisor last Monday, please tell your parents that they will now need to call the Bayside office (414) 247-4202 – and schedule a conference over the phone. Conference dates are today (February 11th), 15th, 18th and 24th. Teachers: please be sure to check the parent conference schedule later today, as there have been several changes made to the conference schedule over that past few days.
Due to parent conferences, there will be no volleyball practices after school today. There is also no late bus.
PALS Cookie Sale
Listen up, students and staff: PALS will be selling cookies during all lunch hours today and tomorrow. Prices will range from 25 cents to $1.00. Sounds delicious!
8th Grade DC Trip Requirement
Listen up, all 8th grade students who are going on the Washington DC trip: Emergency medical release forms are due to Mr. Barry by this Friday, Feb. 12th.
Student Council News
BAN and Student Council will be holding a Valentine's Day Dance for 7th and 8th grade students this Friday night. There will be a DJ and fun photo booth, along with sweet treats and refreshments! The cost of the dance will be $8, and tickets will continue to be sold during 7th and 8th grade lunch through Friday and on the night of the event.
Student Council will be selling Valentine's Day mementos during lunch again today for all grades. We have a variety of heart-shaped stuffed emojis for $2.00 and cherry-flavored heart suckers for $1.00.
Spirit Day – Friday!
This Friday, February 12th, Student Council is putting on a "Wear What You Love" Spirit Day in honor of Valentine's Day. Wear clothing that shows off your favorite sports team, band, hobby, etc. As always, make sure that it's school appropriate.
Box Tops Challenge
Listen up, students: So far we’ve received 2 entries for the PTO “Bayside Box Tops Challenge”. Please remember to bring in box tops from now until Monday, February 22nd. Listen up, Computer Fan Club members: The Computer Fan Club will be meeting again this Friday in the main computer lab. The meeting will run from 3;30 – 4:20. New members are still welcome.

8th Grade Graduation Design Contest
Attention 8th Graders... Would you like your design featured on the 8th grade graduation program, memory book or T-shirt? So far we have received 3 wonderful designs for the 8th grade graduation Design Contest. It's time to get creative! The design should represent this year's theme... "Go Global! It's your Journey!" Guidelines for the designs were handed out in Advisor last Monday and are due in the front office by this Friday, February 12th. Don’t delay!
Bayside’s Got Talent
Attention all Bayside students! Are you an actor, poet, singer, juggler, comedian, rapper, musician or dancer? Or do you have some other unique talent you would like to show the world? Then get your act together and audition for Bayside's Got Talent! on March 1st and 2nd. You need to turn in an Audition Form in order to participate, so check out the Monday Folder for the rules and details!
8th Grade Graduation Photos
8th Graders: If you haven't already scheduled graduation pictures, please remind your parents to call Worzella photography at (262) 242-3663 to make an appointment. Our deadline of March 1st will be here before you know it! Class composite photos featuring this year's graduating class are available, as an option, for a $20 fee. Even if you choose not to purchase photos we'd like to have the entire class represented so please make your appointment for a sitting today. In addition, baby pictures that are needed for the graduation ceremony and the 8th grade memory book. Don’t be left out! Details are on Bayside Monday folders.
